Job Summary:

As a Charge Submission Specialist at Reveloop, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely submission of charges for our behavioral health billing clients. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and commitment to delivering exceptional service will contribute to our clients’ financial success. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational abilities, and proficiency in revenue cycle management practices.

Responsibilities:

– Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of charge documentation for behavioral health services, ensuring compliance with coding and billing guidelines.
– Prepare and submit electronic or paper claims to insurance payers, adhering to specific payer requirements and regulations.
– Monitor and track claim submissions to ensure their timely processing and identify any potential issues or rejections.
– Identify and address claim errors or discrepancies, collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues and resubmit claims when necessary.
– Communicate with insurance companies, payers, and other relevant parties to follow up on outstanding claims and provide additional information as required.
– Stay up to date with the latest coding and billing regulations, payer policies, and industry best practices to ensure accurate claim submissions.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to claim denials, rejections, and other revenue cycle metrics, and suggest process improvements to minimize future issues.
– Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of claim activities, interactions, and resolutions in internal systems.
– Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

 Requirements:

– Bachelor’s Degree Required 
– Proficiency in using medical billing software, claim submission systems, and electronic health records (EHR) platforms.
– Solid understanding of behavioral health coding and billing guidelines (e.g., CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10).
– Familiarity with insurance payers’ billing requirements, regulations, and policies.
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address claim errors or discrepancies.
– Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse stakeholders.
– Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
– Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
